Angel season 5 is Angel's best season! Angel season 5 is Angel's best season! This season was better then the pervious seasons because the show was upgraded on it's Fifith and last season! Angel (David Boreanaz) and his team take over the Los Angeles/Law Offices of Wolfram & Hart, the evil law firm. Angel makes a deal with the Senior Parters to save his son Conner and to give Conner a better life with a real family. Angel fights the system from within inside the belly of the beast! Angel becomes the new CEO of an evil multi-million dollar corporation/law firm! Spike(James Marsters) joins the cast of Angel! Angel and Spike have love/hate relationship that adds character development for the series. the Angel/Spike dynamic was what made the 5th season the best year! Also, The WB asked the producers of Angel to make more stand- alone episodes. The epsodes stories began and ended on the same episodes. Angel's creativity began at a high point for this season! I really enjoyed these episodes! they are the best Angel could possibly deliver! My favorite episodes this season are Conviction, Just Rewards,Unleashed,Lineage,Destiny, Harm's Way, Your Welcome,Why We Fight, Smile Time, Shells, Origin, Time Bomb, Power Play and Not Fade Away! My only problem with this season is that Sarah Michelle Gellar did not appear as Buffy Summers in the Angel episode, The Girl in Question. I wished she had done this episode because this Angel episode did not work without Buffy! I wished Sarah Michelle Gellar appeared on Angel's last season. It would have made a big difference in the quality of the fifith season. Despite this problem, most of the episodes this season were very good. I highly recommended Angel season 5 DVD to anyone. Joss Whedon is a talented creator/writer/producer for any Buffy/Angel projects! Highest Possible Recommendation!
