better than the original several times, i tried to watch the original. it was incredibly corny and hokey and riddled with bad acting. the new, and improved, BG is worth watching. the writing, acting, special effects, set designs and overall production quality are very good. in my opinion, BG is one of the best sci-fi shows ever to air on television.
