Be careful of bulking up...
I'm a naturally muscular person and found that the exercizes really bulked me up in only 2 weeks! It did an awesome job of toning but my pants were tighter than before I started the dvd :( . If you are in need of toning and are not naturally muscular, get this dvd - it totally works and the instructor is a great motivator. However, if you are looking to slim down and lengthen your muscles, I'd probably stick with something like pilates or yoga.
