continuity will be improved by the director's cut

Elektra isn't as bad as it's rep makes it out to be, but it's not as good as a more complete director's cut would be. A previous review mentioned the need for better continuity and a flashback with Daredevil. It's my understanding that such a flashback was filmed and then cut. A director's cut DVD of Elektra (like the superior director's cut of Daredevil) would fix much of the damage done by cutting this to make it shorter and PG-13. I was fairly impressed with the continuity that made it into the theatrical cut and the yunger actor playing Elektra's father at a younger age didn't bother me. I just wish they hadn't cut so much out of the film before releasing it to the big screen. Elektra is worth seeing, but wait for the director's cut.
