Full House - The Complete First Season (1987)

A Nostalgic Trip Down Memory Lane

I remember the first episode to air in Australia. I was 9 years old. I had seen advertisements for the show (it was advertised as Three Men and THREE Babies) but it clashed with the footy and I was loathe to switch channels. However, somehow my sister convinced me and so I did.

I was hooked from Day One. (I found out the footy results later, anyway)

Full House is one of those shows that you either hate or you love. If you love it, you can also groan at the cheesiness but still appreciate the comedy.

I guess one of my favourite things about this show is that as the characters aged, the actors stayed the same. I love continuity in a show as long-running as Full House was and I really love the way you could just "switch off" for half an hour every week and get a fix of some no-fuss family TV.

Bring on Seasons 2 through 8!
