Our look at Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the RingFinally a dream come true - a movie worthy of the book and I just got to say "I LOVE IT!" Everything from casting to special effects has being done perfectly. Only a true fan like Peter Jackson could work out details to such perfection. You can easily distinguish dwarfs, elfish and orcs clothing, architecture, weaponry and art without any prior knowledge. It was not an easy task to make such a movie when you know that a vast army of Tolkien fans are waiting to see if your view of the world will mach theirs. And this is the strength of the movie - much discussed compromise that Jackson had to make between Hollywood demands and Tolkiens true fans' view. As far as I am concern this is a master piece.
