Our look at My Big Fat Greek WeddingI have been going back and forward on the internet sites dedicated to movies looking for the reviews about this movie. I was pretty much interested in how people feel about it. And I can tell you that I bumped to whole much different reviews from "Yes, this movie is awful and overrated!" to "Good little movie that is still bringing in the bucks!". What is the most interesting about it is that this small movie just made so much fuss when it was released. It earned much more than anyone expected and that is the reason why I wanted to place it on this site. I am not sure whether only female audience made the box offices full of cash or was it the timing or something else. It's just one of those movies which come and go and leave a whole lot of questions behind. Neither the Greeks are too settled in US, neither the story is something spectacular, neither the actors. I have the feeling like Tom Hanks was just playing while producing this movie but it surely paid off. How? Don't ask me. Ask Tom. This review was written by: Outlaw |
