IT'S BEST TO SEE THE INCREDIBLES!!!!!
Yes there's a distinct difference between Dreamworks animation and Disney/Pixar. Even though Pixar came first, I have to admit DW made some good efforts in animated films such as The Prince of Egypt and Sinbad. Then came the Pixar clone ANTZ in 1998 and... more

Dreamworks has made a boo-boo w/ this one.
There isn't anything fundamental about this movie, but it was still entertaining. It was funny and the voices fit the persona of the characters.

There were many laugh-out-louds moments and you've got to be paying attention or else you might... more

Technically Sophisticated, Entertainingly Dull
This movie has two things going for it, and that is it. Technically this movie is wonderful. The graphics are incredible. The movie also boasts a cast with more star power than most movies get these days. With these two things going for the movie, it... more

Nemo is way better.
When I first saw previews for this movie I thought It would be stupid. And boy was I right. Not ragging on Dreamworks. There a good animation studio bringing us classics like the first 2 shrek movies and Spirit. But This movie I thought was so pointless.... more

FINDING NEMO, IT AINT! (2 1/2 STARS)
The animation in this movie is great,
but the story is really weak! This
Finding Nemo wanna be, is worth seeing
once, but don't expect to love it!

An okay computer animated film from Dreamworks
"Shark Tale" is a landmark in the history of computer animated films because it is...okay. There was a time when animated films were few and far between and every time one came out it was something of an event, especially if it was Disney film. Then... more

how to turn kids off watching DVDs
Like many parents, I consider Pixar to be geniuses whose work I readily allow my child to watch. Unfortunately - there are only so many Pixar releases and so I search for films and other content that is suitable and of a high standard. Shark Tale is neither... more

Not good, not good at all...
If I had wanted to watch Will Smith, I would have watched a Will Smith movie. If I had wanted to watch Robert de Niro, I would have watched a Robert de Niro movie. Instead, I watched Will Smith and Robert de Niro disguised as fish!!!! Give me a break!!!... more

AVOID AT ALL COST
The WORST Animated movie ever made. I sat thru this boring, shallow story hoping it would get better and it just got worse. Bad music, bad story, bad voice talent, over payed voice talent.

The low point of this movie was when CGI fish versions... more

Chum
"From the makers of *Shrek*" my ventral fin. If the two films share any writers or directors or *anyone* else directly involved in their respective contents, then this is evidence of schizophrenia. I might one day persuade someone to let me record at... more

Shark Tale
Shark is a kludge of a movie that at its best moments only reminds you of the far better movies that you've already seen--Shrek 2 and Finding Nemo.

more

Slay Shark Tale!!!!
Shark Tale was suppose to be a modern day sea adventure with hip music and fantasy sea world. Shark Tale fails... Orginally seeing the adds for Shark Tale I had the hope that it would be "Finding Nemo" meets Shrek but, it wasn't... this a generic rip... more

HILARIOUS!
You think this is for kids huh? Well, it is in a majority, but there are also some hilarious scenes that everybody could laugh. This whole movie is hilarious. It has a brilliant cast, brilliant designs, brilliant everything. I really recommend this film.... more

Shark Tale!!!!!
this movie is cool and funny.me and my friend watched it and died out laughing at some parts but others we were like "huh?was that suppose to be funny?" lola got a little creepy!also the jelly fish were weird and they got that stupid song they sing... more

Average
The movie was entertaining, but I was kind of disappointed. Compared to other animated movies (i.e.- shrek, monsters inc., etc...), this wasn't as funny. However, if you are an animation junky, you will want this movie. Now, would you watch more than... more

Cute story with great animations
Okay so I thought the movie was mediocre.. I didn't love it and I didn't hate it either. My 6 year old daughter on the other hand loved it.

All Disney movies are filled with stereotypes, and hidden messages that only adults should fully... more

Enjoyable but discouraging
Animation hit a major slump in the mid-1990's thanks to the decline of Disney. However, in recent years it has been rejuvenated by Pixar and Dreamworks, who not only decided to redo the look of traditional animation (by computer generating it) but also... more

Many Big Name Stars Took Part in this Fun Animated Film
DreamWorks pulled out all the stops in its fun animated 2004 film "Shark Tale". Using a combination of advanced computer graphics and animation, New York City is transformed from a busy above-water city of people into a crowded underwater realm inhabited... more
