IT'S BEST TO SEE THE INCREDIBLES!!!!!
Yes there's a distinct difference between Dreamworks animation and Disney/Pixar. Even though Pixar came first, I have to admit DW made some good efforts in animated films such as The Prince of Egypt and Sinbad. Then came the Pixar clone ANTZ in 1998 and Shrek in 2001, both were hits, but it's Disney/Pixar that will prevail hands down. It's all about competition for DW. Although Shrek 2 is the biggest hit of 2004, DW stumbled with Shark Tale. Even more pathetic was that they challanged Pixar's The Incredibles and lost. I'm not putting down DW animation but the difference between the 2 animated companies is probably an attempt at star power. Shark Tale "stars" Will Smith , Jack Black, Robert DeNiro and is overblown with stars like Renee ZelWeiger, Angelina Jolie, Katie Couric, etc. rather than a plain old fish movie, the Incredibles is totally different. We know it's a story about superheroes and a family film, you just know upfront. It's easy to forget that Craig T nelson, Holly Hunter and Samuel L Jackson plays Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone. You get caught up in this film as any other Pixar film. If I had to choose between these two movies, it has to be the Incredibles hands down. It's better, smarter, and the best animated movie I've ever seen...next to Shrek 2
