5 stars for episodes only

Positively, let me state that seaons 5 ranks as one the best and most consistent of all the sesons of South Park. It contains some of my personal favorites such as Scott Tenorman Must Die, Proper Condom Use, How to Eat With Your Butt, Cripple Fight, and Butter's Very Own Episode. Most episodes are still quite amusing upon many repeated viewings, which was a great payoff after the very hit or miss season 4.
My biggest complaint about this season is the commentary "minis". When they started them in season 3, they were okay and I thought that a few minutes an episode was better than nothing at all. However, fast-forwarding to season 5, these "minis" have become so short (most end up about 3 mins) that it is insulting to the fan. Parker and Stone often abruptly stop mid-sentence and say things like "okay, thats enough for this one". On some episodes, they even state that "we haven't got much to say about this one". This leads me to believe what many have been saying all along: they should drop the commentary minis and focus on a couple of episodes that they enjoy. They are an interesting duo to listen to, but it is clear that this format is not working.
