Interesting series, spy on the lesbian in crowd If you didn't have a chance to catch this series when it aired on Showtime, now is your chance to catch the first season of the L Word on DVD. This series explores the everyday lives of a powerful group of Los Angeles based lesbians. They all seem polished, professional and fit (not a plus size girl in site or someone with just a regular ole life). The show is basically revolved around Jennifer Beals and her girlfriend of seven years. Jennifer is all into her career while her girlfriend seems much more interested in starting a family than she is. This show is cool for people who are interested on just how the other side might be living. The lesbian in crown deals with a lot of the same issues that heterosexual couples do. When the girls meet to talk at the cafe they hang out at, I can't help to think of the show as a lesbian Sex and The City, but this drama is really good, but doesn't have a high re-watch value, so if you love the show buy it, if youa re just curious you might want to rent it or borrow it before you buy it. It's a pricey set.
