The Lone Gunmen - The Complete Series (2001)

Better than the Xfiles

I admit that I am biased in my opinion of the Lone Gunmen. To me this show is far better than the xfiles.

The Lone Gunmen gives you nothing but the best of what made the Xfiles such a good show. Great characters (not just the trio, but Jimmy Bond, Eve and Kimmy all add to the cast). Plenty of humor and conspiracies.

What I personally do NOT like about the xfiles is the creepy/gory/horror aspect. I do not like Monster of the Week episodes, serial killer episodes or gory espisodes. The Lone Gunmen contains none of these.

The nice thing about having only 14 episodes is that there are no 'duds' in the bunch and no repeated storylines.

Fox had said there would NEVER be a DVD release of this series. So rejoice and enjoy fans we have triumphed over TPTB!
