The Lone Gunmen - The Complete Series (2001)

Why was this show ever canceled?

Finally! The "Lone Gunmen" comes to DVD! This was (outside of the first 4 seasons of the "X-Files") probably one of the best, moste creative and humerous series ever to hit the small screen. The "X-Files" favorite conspiracy geeks, Byres, Langly and Frohiky got their own painfully short series. Written by the "X-Files" regualrs, this show was just as creative, but had the humor of some of the best of the "X-Files" episodes. A few of the episodes fell a bit flat, but most of them were absolute jewels, such as the episode with the super intellagent chimp which tricked the hapless trio into helping him escape from a research facillity. I could never guess why this show was canceled after only 13 episodes. IF they just gave it half a chance, I think this series would have run longer than it's parent series. The characters were well written, and each had their own charms. If you were a fan of the "X-Files", then your collection is not compleat without "The Lone Gunmen". Even if you wern't an "X-Files" fan, this series stands by itself, and it's well worth the money!
