peter jackson is a joke yes, the man cannot make a film to save his life. the LOTR trilogy(far from the greatest trilogy of all time.) are nothing more than an excuse for 3 hours of special effects wankery. jackson completely watered down the story too, Tolkien's books are at times dark and incredibly violent. not the films. jackson wanted a study of people's emotions, piss off. and i just cannot wait for his version of King Kong, boy that's gonna be great.
