A review of this film
This movie is about as historically realistic as "The Adventures of Pluto Nash". This movie is Christianity's sick and demented cultural manifestation of the fictional entity known to the masses as "Jesus". Unfortunately, as any sage of history knows, Jesus never existed in reality, but was invented and created by the powers within the Church in order to deceive these masses and keep them blind while the Church was brainwashing them. The ideological norm within the Church is that the masses must be dominated and controlled, and what better way to achieve this goal than by inventing a fictional being who they could worship? Thus, we can see that Christianity needed to fabricate the story of Jesus in order to maintain their authority and powers at a time when the masses were living off of a few crumbs of bread. This type of control, manifested via the cultural hegemony of belief in Jesus was necessary at that particular time because the masses were finally starting to come to the realization that the Church did not have their best interests in mind, but rather was only interested in increasing the number of the Christian cult. This cult uses films like "The Passion" in order to reinforce their structural abuse of power. That is why this film should be avoided at all costs!
