The Pirate Movie (1982)

A Blast from the Past

This movie came out in the early 1980's. It's a comedy remake of the Pirate's of Penzance. Swash Buckling Adventure broken up by 80's style rock remakes of classic Pirate of Penzance songs and a few new ones. The story begins in *Modern 80's* time and quickly turns into a Pirate Adventure dream sequence. There is a conflicting love interest between the Major General's youngest daughter Mabel, the the Pirate king's adopted son Frederic and a treasure that stands between them all.

To quote another famous movie "Does it got any sports in it?"
"Are you kidding? Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, True Love, miracles...."

It's a Fun watch for the family. And a real blast from the past for anyone who watched it back in the 1980's.
