The Pirate Movie (1982)

A nostalgic gem!

Anyone who can't enjoy this movie for the good-time party that it is, is just too uptight. Granted, it helped that I was only 14 when it came out, but my friends and I would watch this thing anytime it was on HBO (which was quite a lot), and yes I had the soundtrack double-LP as well. If nothing else it just represents the feeling of being young and not having to worry about the seriousness of life yet. I cannot wait to get the DVD when it comes out, and please, somebody release the soundtrack on CD please!
