The Pirate Movie (1982)

Give Me A Happy Ending

This movie I saw in the theaters when I was about 11 years old. I remember that I fell in love with it right form the start. It is a satire to the The Pirates of Penzance. So therefore it would be all campy and stupid. However, It is a movie that you either like it or hate it. It can grow on you like Xanadu. I read on digitalbits.com that it will be coming out on DVD in 2005. It will have a new transfer, enhanced for 16x9 T.V.s,new digital soundtrack, and extras to boot!!! I found a used copy that I paid 10.00 for in a used video store. I remember that I never wanted to watch it that much because the movie went out of print a few years ago, and I did not want to wear it down. I will most definitely wait for the DVD and get that when it come out. I will always be a die hard Pirate Movie Fan.
