Season 5: The Best of the Best Season 5 was when it all came together for The Simpsons as a series. The show was well established and could start taking risks, the running gags were still fresh, yet familiar, and the cast of characters was solidified in the collective consciousness... more
Longest Running TV Show Today The fifth season of The Simspons is certainly one of the best ever. Though an entirely new staff of writers and producers takes over for the show in this season, they manage to offer up some of the most hilarious scripts and fantastic direction the series... more
Season 5 is Great Awesome season. This season has alot of great episodes from the earlier years that helped the Simpsons become the success it is today. Favorites include Homer loves Flanders where homer becomes Ned's friend for a bit and then goes right back to hating... more
The decline of "The Simpsons" begins... Considering that most of these sets offer the same kinds of extras, the rating has to reflect the quality of the episodes themselves.
And, unfortunately, after reaching new heights of excellence with "Marge vs. the Monorail" and "A Streetcar... more
