Less Gangster, More Literate
If you liked the bloodshed and frequent whackings that were common in the first two seasons then Season 5 may not suit you. If you appreciate well drawn out story lines and artistic storytelling, this is for you.

Fantastic season!
An improvement over season four. Well threaded season-long storyline(s) and great new characters. And HBO and David Chase deserve a HUGE kudos for moving the release date from 4th quarter 2005 to June 7th!! GREAT MOVE!!

Better times past
With up and down talk of the impending demise of the show this season missed fired on all levels. Off course it had water cooler moments but nothing of past that actually had viewers anxiously awaiting the next week's episode. I only hope HBO produces... more

BEST SEASON TO DATE!
I don't think I will ever be able to get enough Sopranos, I think this is one the greatest shows ever put on television, but I can't believe that HBO is going to wait until 2006 to air the sixth and final season, I don't think I can wait that long!
